OMB operates in the industrial automation sector and in particular in the design and construction of ice cream machines.
The strong knowledge of the subject and the high specialization have created the right conditions for the partnership with two great giants in the sector, such as UNILEVER S.p.A and Nestlé.

The history of OMB - OFFICINE MECCANICHE BOIANO srl begins in 1978 when the Brothers Gennaro and Pasquale Boiano, after significant experience in “BTicino S.p.A”, founded their own workshop precision mechanics: the CO.ST.AT. S.n.c. (Construction of molds and tools).
Over the years, the company, which became OMB srl in 1999, has experienced constant growth in terms of turnover consequently inserting more and more resources into its staff. Thanks to this rapid development it succeeded to extend its business to various areas such as:
- Construction of Thermoplastic Injection Molds
- Medium / small series machining on CNC machines such as machining centers, lathes and wire EDM and also to plunge.
- Aeronautical processing
- Design and construction of production machines for the Ice Cream sector

At OMB - OFFICINE MECCANICHE BOIANO we put innovation at the center to keep pace with the times and offer our customers the best.
For this we already count:
- three three-axis CNC vertical machining centers,
- a two-axis self-learning parallel lathe,
- a two-axis die-sinking EDM,
- a CNC lathe with a two-axis bar feeder,
- a four-axis wire EDM,
- another three-axis plunge,
- a three-axis CNC vertical machining center,
- a five-axis milling machine with mobile column,
- a two-axis CNC lathe.
In addition to these, we can count on much other equipment that guarantee high production efficiency.
Quality Check
During all the production phases, a careful quality control of the various processes is carried out.
All the work, from its single element to its most consolidated process, passes under the lens of enlargement of the final supervisors in order to polish and refine the last details.
This is the phase that OMB srl "likes" most because it reflects its mission: satisfaction of customers and partners. Only once a thorough final check has been carried out, do we proceed with the shipment of the finished products by relying on leading companies in the market.
CAD / CAM
Instead, the Solidworks CAD system is used to design and create the related technical documentation, replacing manual drawing with an automated process.
In addition to CAD software, the company uses Esprit CAM as a program for machining, CNC programming and simulation.

Vincenzo Boiano
Plant Manager
Vincenzo is the managerial manager who supervises the entire company complex. He is the contact person for the commercial department and takes care of the stipulation of relationships and contacts with new partners.
Ciro Boiano
Production Manager
Ciro is the production manager who plans, controls and coordinates the entire company production activity to optimize resources and final yield.
Gennaro Boiano
Technical Department Termoplastic molds
Gennaro is the head of the technical department. In the company he designs and makes every process tangible. He is in charge of the thermoplastic mold division.
Alessia Boiano
Administration manager
Alessia is administrative manager who manages the accounting part with a particular focus on finance facilitation and plans future business activities. She is also the contact person for the purchasing department.
Massimiliano Maiale
Technical Manager
Massimiliano is in charge of the technical department for the food sector. In the company, he designs so as to satisfy different customer needs.
